My Background & Experience

Chef Jeff Whitmore - Owner/Chef

Raised in New England, jeff found his love for seafood while working summers on nantucket. He’s learned to cook under multiple Michelin Starred and James Beard Award winning chefs. he has since went on to open MULTIPLE RESTAURANTS as the executive chef.

chef Jeff, Or ‘cheffrey’ in some circles, is a bigger fan of the hole-in-the-wall clam shack than he is of the upscale steakhouses.

he was inspired to open the swell so he can have a direct connection to the suppliers, the farmers, and the guests. JEFF believes the difference is in the details.
