My Background & Experience

Who is Brandi?
Brandi Patten is a chef and graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta, School of Culinary Arts. She has been in the food service industry for the past two decades, honing her skills at such Atlanta classics as Murphy’s Restaurant in the trendy Virginia Highlands neighborhood. She also studied under 2009 James Beard Award winner for Best Chef, Mike Lata. 

Sourcing fresh, local and seasonal ingredients has always been important to Chef Brandi because of its health benefits to her clients, reducing the environmental impact and aiding in the growth of the local economy. As a small business owner, she thinks it is important to maintain that focus, even as her business grows.

Brandi grew up all around the U.S., but was born and rooted in the South. Her beloved grandmother taught her how to cook and enjoy some of her favorite meals–most of which were concocted in an iron skillet! Her favorite memories were Sunday afternoons with the entire family coming together at her grandparent’s home. The women would bring their most prized dishes, served in some sort of Pyrex. It was a smorgasbord of beautiful vegetables, vibrant salads and decadent desserts. To this day, Chef Brandi tries to convey that feeling of comfort and family in the food she prepares.
