Chef and Owner Chris Keck has been on the culinary scene for over 20 years both in Charleston SC as well as in Chicago IL and Boulder CO. He has had a passion for creating and enjoying good food since a young age watching his mother in her small catering business, then onto the culinary city of Charleston in college, and then his palate further heightened from domestic and international travel thereafter particularly Spain and New Zealand.

After experience as Sous chef, Executive catering chef, and Executive chef, in 2019 he stepped away from the restaurant setting and opened a personal chef business called The Healthy Palate. He now offers personalized meal preps, private dinners, catering, and personal chef services in the Charleston area.

Chef Keck’s goal is to provide clean, healthy, and customizable cuisine highlighting local products as much as possible. He provides to busy professionals and families during the week, friends and family gathering for a dinner or special occasion, and those wanting a relaxing and memorable vacation. As the business grows he looks forward to providing even more opportunities to enjoy his unique gourmet meals.
