1. Overview
YesChef Booking ("we," "us," or "the Platform") operates a marketplace connecting customers ("Hosts") with culinary professionals ("Providers"). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. How the Marketplace Works
YesChef Booking is a platform that facilitates connections between Hosts and Providers. We are not a party to the agreements between Hosts and Providers. Providers are independent professionals, not employees or contractors of YesChef Booking.
4. Booking and Payments
Hosts submit booking requests describing their event. Providers respond with custom quotes. When a Host accepts a quote, payment is processed securely through Stripe. YesChef Booking charges a platform fee on each transaction. Providers receive their payout after the event is completed, minus the platform fee. All prices are in US dollars.
5. Cancellations
Hosts may cancel a booking request before payment is made at no charge. Once payment has been processed, cancellation and refund policies are determined on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at support@yeschefbooking.com for assistance with cancellations after payment.
6. Provider Responsibilities
Providers are responsible for the quality and safety of their services, including compliance with local health and food safety regulations, maintaining appropriate licenses and insurance, accurately representing their services and pricing, and communicating professionally with Hosts.
7. Host Responsibilities
Hosts are responsible for providing accurate event details in their booking requests, ensuring a safe and accessible venue for the Provider, communicating dietary restrictions and special needs clearly, and making payment promptly when accepting a quote.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not use the Platform to circumvent payments outside the Platform after an initial connection is made, submit false or misleading information, harass or discriminate against other users, violate any applicable laws or regulations, or attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
9. Limitation of Liability
YesChef Booking provides the Platform on an "as is" basis. We facilitate connections but do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Providers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, YesChef Booking is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Platform or from services provided by Providers.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
