My Background & Experience

Originally from Charleston, SC but Filipino by heritage, I have over 30+ years in the restaurant business, and have been a private chef for 4 years. I worked my way up from a dishwasher and mastered every position in the restaurant to include pastry and have held every chef position. I am a military veteran having served on US Navy submarines, and have lived on both sides of the coasts.

My parents were initially my first role models that got my interest in cooking started. My mom was mostly the baker and would make fresh breads to desserts and my dad was a meat connoisseur, a grill master and overall an amazing cook.

I started down the private chef path during Covid because basically, I had a feeling that it would take lots of time to get back to "normal" especially in the food and beverage industry. I also knew I was getting older and I knew I couldn't sustain the crazy work hours and stress. Most importantly, I missed that personal connection with guests and families when I could just create, and execute amazing food, and watch their reactions.

My goal is to exceed your experience through food and service.
